"Our new enclosed awning was absolutely fantastic and made such a great difference to our holiday in the Kimberley last July to early September. Your company did a great job (we mailed our awning down to you and you mailed back the kitchen area and full screens) and everything fitted like a glove. Thank you also for all your assistance with details of your own trip up there. We had a wonderful time and one of our favourite places too was El Questro the other favourites of ours was Drysdale River Station - the family were so friendly and we had a wonderful week there, the next one we really loved was Mount Hart well worth the trip off the Gibb River to the camping area - best hot showers in our opinion for the entire journey. Then we went up north from Broome to Cape Leveque where we stayed at a place called Kooljamin - it was fantastic. Went by a new large boat to the Horizontal Falls for a day trip - this was the highlight of the holiday. We took some great photos and a couple in particular were done for your company - showing the camper and the Gibb River Road sign etc. We have been so busy with my husbands business since our return last September that I have not even had time to show the family our photos yet. But I promise I will send a couple to you soon for Cavalier to put on their website. Feel free to also include this email if you would like to. We saw a lot of different campers along the way, some good and some not so good - but once again our Cavalier performed wonderfully like the trooper it is - not giving us an ounce of trouble for the entire round trip from Sydney - 14,000 km . How could anyone ask more than that? Could you please also pass these congratulations on to your staff that did the hard work."

"Just want to thank you for the excellent quality of materials and workmanship on your campers. We bought an on-road deluxe new in ’05 and are now thinking of trading for a off-roader (Cavalier of course). Each time we set up camp we always comment to one-another how good it is. Money well spent. Thanks again."

"Just wanted to drop you a line to say thank you again for all your effort to solve the problem with my original trailer. It really is appreciated. Had a nice drive back on Sunday and looking forward to getting some mud on it!
I'm off to the Caulfield Caravan and Camping show this weekend and I'll be raving to anyone who wants to listen about how great Cavalier Campers are!
Oh, and here are some photo's of some of our trips so far."

"Just a short note and pictures to thank you for producing such a good product.
We towed our Cavalier trailer from Adelaide to Darwin the hard way via the Oodnadatta Track, Dalhousie Springs, Old Ghan Track then north to Kakadu National Park and Litchfield National Park with not a hint of a problem. The Cavalier handled coke can deep corrugations for hundreds of kilometres with no dust ingress or breakages, tracked beautifully even on the worst bull dust riddled roads and showed up a lot of $40,000 plus campers on our trip.
We would not hesitate in recommending Cavalier Campers to anyone and thanks again."

"In 2000 I think it was, maybe even 98 or 99, my father-in-law drove from Melbourne to Adelaide to pickup his new camper - I thought he was mad driving all that way to get a camper. He got the offroad model and believe me he has taken it where the devil himself would be scared to travel - Birdsville Track, Flinders Ranges, Ayers Rock, across the top end a few times, Mt Isa - so many good times. Oh, and now I have my own family I have been using it more than the in-laws and I fit 3 kids in there with me and the Mrs. It has been in constant use by Him and myself. We sat down and worked out how many months it has actually been in action and it worked out to about 2.3 years of use - that's 928 nights use. Well, he decided it was time to give it a bit of a scrub back and re-spray. Well here is the old girl with an afternoon's worth of elbow grease. The only thing is, can we get another set of mud flaps for her? I suggested a set from Supercheap, but the mother-in-law won't hear of it - she wants a set like the ones it had on it, but being hammered by Jibber over time something's got to give, so after nearly 9 or 10 years it's time to replace the mudflaps. Not a bad effort guys - you really built this thing to last!"

"We wish to extend to all at Cavalier Campers our congratulations for producing such a fine product. We purchased a secondhand On Road deluxe especially to travel the rougher tracks around Australia with a relatively lightweight camper. Having formerly owned an off road camper of another make, we took a gamble taking an on roader. The Cavalier exceeded out expectations - 23,000 kms from Perth through the Central Deserts to Western QLD, Brisbane and up to The Cape, around the Gulf to Darwin and through the Kimberleys home again. 6,000 kms were covered on the roughest tracks Australia could throw at us along with dozens of creek crossings. The Great Central Road, Daintree forests,Cape York, The Gibb River Road failed to stop our Cavalier. The only modifications were welding strengthening gussets on the front suspension eyes and fitting full profile 195x14 tyres. Many an owner of very expensive (and very heavy) off roaders gave the little Cavalier a dubious glance as it bounced over the rocks and corrugations. The canvas, though now very dusty, is as good as new even after 52 set ups and pull downs - the equivalent of dozens of normal holidays. Torrential rain in QLD and even a coating of ice one morning were repelled. Should you require any photos, more information etc please don't hesitate to reply. Once again congratulations and thank you for such a capable, quality camper.
Please feel free to use my email on your testimonials page - Cavalier products deserve it. I have searched through hundreds of pix and consider the more dramatic ones such as this to be appropriate. We had just escaped a downpour at Arltunga in the East McDonnells out of Alice Springs and had collected half a ton of mud which we carried for over 100 kms on goat tracks (the proper track was flooded) before finding the Plenty Highway. A good hosing down had the trailer shining like a new pin. I might point out that our previous off roader (NOT a Cavalier) suffered bent mud guards and cracked welds doing similar runs, but the Cavalier just needs a touch up with paint spray here and there to return it to pristine condition. The checker plate construction proved to be very tough."

"I just wanted to give you some feedback about my camper and your product. I've just returned from 13,000 kilometre trip to the Kimberley and the camper was outstanding. I must congratulate you for the quality of the camper especially the amazing sturdiness and reliability. Even though I only have the on road version we were able to travel the Tanami Road between Halls Creek and Alice Springs without incident. Even the locals said they wouldn't travel the road because of its condition, which says a lot for the unit. Thanks for the pre trip information and a top little camper!"

"A Note of Appreciation.
My husband and I purchased a standard ON Road Cavalier trailer approx 10 years ago. A solid construction of checkerplate and a well made canvas foldout & awning. We built a pull out kitchen into it and painted the canvas every 4 years with a treatment.
We have just returned from 7 months on the road (or should I say Off the Road). We dragged your little trailer all over the Top End & Northern Territory. Taking it where other 4x4 trailers feared to go. Across the Tanami desert, along the Gibb River road, and right down along the cape from Darwin-Boorooloola-Karumba and the up the Cape. Most people couldn't believe that the little ON-Road trailer went so well....We know better.....THANK YOU for such a great adventure."

"Thank you for our trailer - it has been great. We are now in Tweed Heads after camping along the NSW coast, Blue Mountains, Canberra, Lake Hume and Swan Hill. The trailer is easy to tow and admired by many on our travels. They laugh as we pull in with a small trailer and unfold a house. Thank you."

"We have found our new camper trailer ideal & trouble-free for our Outback 7,000km trip. Even over a full day on constant rough roads, bulldust etc. it has been fantastic. It's easy & comfortable & greatly admired by many camping enthusiasts. Thank you for your kind help & prompt attention."

"Since buying the camper we have done numerous trips including the trip home to Queensland (which took approx 7 days) and it would probably interest you to know that we are very happy with it and have had no problems at all with it. We find it very comfortable with ample room for the both of us, as we have seen others in our travels since buying this one and, after looking at them, they seem so small and restricting compared to this one, so our Cavalier comes highly recommended."

An extract from a report on a Barrumundi fishing trip to Kowanyama on the west coast of Queensland, which included 1,000 km of 4wd-only access over rough, corrugated dirt road.
"... Cavalier trailer performed excellently. Number of trailers were broken down on the side of the road and had obviously been abandoned. In fact the trailer being towed by the other vehicle in our party broke an axle 200 klms out of Kowanyama. We were fortunate enough to be able to fix it at Hibury Station. My trailer shows no signs of metal fatigue or damage at all despite being fully laden and carrying a 12ft 6in aluminium boat. Well done Cavalier."
